International Book Promotion

Google Shopping Ads

We are continuously utilizing AI advertising (official name: Google Shopping Ads “Performance Max” format), which suggests the most suitable products based on users' search history and interests. Therefore, high advertising effectiveness can be expected. Distributed mainly in developed English-speaking countries such as the U.S., U.K., and Canada. We are working on matching potential readers to Japanese books they are interested in through AI and advertising.

Instagram Reel Video

Japanese books are valued for their careful binding, paper quality, and high printing quality. In order to convey the feel and texture in particular, we are using Instagram reel videos for some of our products to effectively promote their appeal. Through videos, we aim to give people a more realistic sense of the quality and attention to detail of our books, which will increase their willingness to purchase and enhance brand value, and we are actively working to expand recognition and gain fans among a wide range of people.

FB Targeted Advertising

We develop effective advertisements aimed at people interested in Japanese language books. We target users who are likely to purchase Japanese-language books, especially the Japanese learning community on Facebook. This allows us to efficiently reach out to a highly interested audience and maximize the effectiveness of our advertising. Our goal is to widely communicate the appeal of Japanese books to people overseas who are interested in Japanese culture and language.

Amazon Ads

Beginning in 2024, Amazon in the U.S. will allow advertising in the book category, which was previously unavailable. We are taking advantage of this advertising functionality to find effective ways to gain recognition. We will continue to expand our approach to diverse target groups to convey the appeal of books to more users, and we are actively working to expand sales and continuously improve effectiveness.

Overseas Exhibitions

We have received many requests for this service and are preparing to provide it.

  • Tokyo International Book Fair
  • BookExpo America
  • London Book Fair
  • Frankfurt Book Fair
  • Salon du Livre
  • Asia International Book Fair

Most Japanese books have no information registered in overseas online stores. Unless someone determines that a book is likely to sell well overseas and introduces it, overseas readers will not be aware of its existence, and demand will not be generated.

We have focused on this issue since our establishment and have taken a leadership role in the niche market of “cross-border EC × Japanese books” in cooperation with trade publishers. We have translated and exhibited Japanese books, and by 2024 we had exhibited approximately 4,000 new titles per year. This information is efficiently managed by our proprietary core system and database.
